SUMMARY OF POSITION:
 
The incumbent is responsible for achieving sales targets and margins, be involved from initiation to completion of sales cycles, maintain an elevated level of client engagement and identify development potential in existing accounts.
Having a strategic disposition is required for planning and execution of the Account Plan, and proper accounts identification and allocation. Good customer management, effective communication skills and being ability to contribute effectively as team player are keys to the success of this role.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Achieve sales targets and margins by servicing existing clients promptly and establishing new accounts via sales calls and sales presentations and provision of all sales related reports to the Management. 
  • Involved in sales initiation to completion by following up on business opportunities via email/ sales presentations, qualifying potential, provision of relevant quotes to clients promptly and follow through of sales cycle to ensure smooth completion. Assisting customer on complex tender submissions and interface between internal technical resources and vendors to derive viable sales proposals. 
  • Increase client engagement by following up proactively on enquiries, identifying clients’ needs, working closely with pre-sales consultants to build long term relationships with clients and maintain continuous businesses with existing and new clients. This also includes the development of a sound Account Plan for the team. 
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction by striving for excellent customer service in terms of technical and sales aspects, resolving issues arising from logistics and working with the inside sales team to facilitate smooth delivery of clients’ requirements. Preparation and submission of required reports for both vendors and Management on a weekly basis. 
  • Identify development potential in accounts by studying the current business and market trends, be constantly updated on products entering the market and participating or self-initiate marketing events or promotions.  
REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Degree in any discipline or its equivalent
  • 5 working years minimum with sales related background
  • Ability to continuously develop prospects, leads, and new sales opportunities
  • Strong interpersonal, customer management and communication skills
  • A good team player with the ability to multi-task
  • Outspoken and people-orientated
  • Driven, self-motivated and ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience / knowledge in enterprise cabling sales, telco and enterprise industry will be an added advantage
